2017 Ford Escape presented a new driving range with a 1.5-liter Eco Boost engine which adds horsepower and torque compared to the 1.6 liter engine. The new engine produces 181 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. Maximum speed is electronically limited to 125 mph. The engine is mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission that transfers power to the front axle. The second engine is a 2.0-liter Eco Boost mill that produces 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. As an optional drive is offer all-wheel drive.
