2017 Nissan Leaf Environmentally friendly car

Nissan Leaf is a very unique vehicle. It comes in a five door hatchback body. It has been in the market since 2010. Initially introduced in Japan this car is now quite popular even in United States and UK. It is classified as a compact vehicle. Currently available in 35 countries this vehicle is very important for Nissan as it symbolises their concern for environmentally friendly technologies. 2017 Nissan Leaf would be much more glamorous and advanced in technology than previous versions.

The word LEAF is actually very significant for this vehicle. It actually stands for Leading Environmentally Friendly Affordable Family car. The name is completely justified. As a result of its hybrid engine combined with electric motor it provides 115 mpg of fuel economy. It has already won world car of the year, Japanese Car of the year and several other awards for environmentally friendly technologies.

2017 Nissan Leaf is expected to have a modern futuristic outlook. There is a lot of expectation regarding the design of this vehicle. The dimensions and body lines would be redesigned to accommodate better aerodynamics. The headlights and tail lights would comprise of low beam LED technologies in them. There would also be a newly designed bumper in the 2017 Nissan Leaf. Front portion of the vehicle would have a completely renovated look. The wheelbase would be wider with wheels made of aluminium alloy.


2017 Nissan Leaf will have a large cabin space with enough area for luggage even after seating five adult people. It would be equipped with all the latest technical gadgets such as GPS navigation system, top quality driver’s user interface and state of the art infotainment system. On the department of performance there are very few vehicle which would be able to match up to the level of 2017 Nissan Leaf when it comes to eco-friendly technology. The 2017 version would certainly have improved batteries. The electric motor would be able to generate up to 110 HP of power along with 210 lb-ft of torque. According to company reports the new battery pack would be able to produce nearly up to 180 miles of driving range.
