2018 Volkswagen Touareg is SUV the third generation that will come to market in the new release. The body will be built on the MLB Evo platform, which will have smaller dimensions compared to the Audi Q7. The platform is very flexible and easy, and provides good performance. The styling cues are taken from the new generation Porsche Cayenne and Passat. Changes on the exterior of bringing new forms and attractive appearance thanks to: the new radiator grille, bumpers, headlights, wheels, side panels, rear fascia and other elements. The interior is comfortable thanks to new materials and spacious cabin. The center console has a unique arrangement of devices and new features that will leave you breathless. The propulsion system will offer more efficient engines with lower fuel consumption and a new system of transmission of torque. Manufacturers expect good sales in the global market.

2018 Volkswagen Touareg will offer a range of power-train units with different versions and volumes. The basic offer will be economical four-cylinder engine, while is for the US market prepared stronger aggregates as well as popular hybrid drive. The hybrid drive will combine four-cylinder engine with an electric motor which is fed via a lithium-ion battery of high capacity. Torque is transmitted via 10-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox on all four wheels. Data on acceleration, fuel consumption and emissions will be released after completion of testing. Detailed specifications will be announced later.

2018 Volkswagen Touareg offers luxurious and modern interior design. Capacity cabins will be 5 seats, and the space between the lines will be sufficient for the legs. The list of equipment includes a new touch screen, navigation, automatic air conditioning, entertainment system, integration with smart phones and more. Safety package includes driver assistance systems, the semi-autonomous driving system, digital devices for monitoring and other processes while driving. Sales will begin in the second half of 2017 year and the price will depend of the engine choice and trim. Projections of the basic price have not yet been made but it is assumed that there will be greater than the cost of current models.
